Halloween Dress Up Celebration!

The Dream Team have again been busy. Every time the class is working as a team (which means everyone is in the right place, at the right time, doing the right thing) the class earns a smiley face on the board. At the end of the day these smiles are counted up and we put that many marbles in our jar. When the jar is full (100 marbles) we celebrate with a dress up day of fun. Pirates (Arrrrr!) and Princesses (Sparkle Dust!) Dress Up Day

We had so much fun together on our positively perfect, celebration of the letter p, dress up day. Everyone got on board with the spirit of the day. A highlight had to be our treasure hunt and our shared kai (popcorn, pizza and pebbles..yum yum!). Big thanks to Anne for the pizza.

In Room 12a we have been learning about descriptive writing. We wrote stories describing ourselves and then created beautiful artworks to showcase our stories.These are now on display in the Office. Every Friday we have Discovery Time. It is an opportunity for the kids to direct their own learning, make choices, explore and focus on the Key Competencies.
